Glee Tuesday's Episode (Sexy)

Ok, I am a huge fan of Glee. I think the music and singing is awesome. Last night's episode however was a bit too adult like for teenage viewers. It should have come on at 10pm. I love the fact that this show may help kids open up and talk to their parents more. It deals with a lot of issues that I know from personal experience is hard to deal with as a kid. If you haven't watched you need to get the pilot and watch it, I was hooked the moment they started singing Journey songs, LOL My husband and I both love it so more quality time spent with him, which is always a bonus.

Date Night

So my husband and I went on a date Saturday night while my parents watched the girls. Even though it rained the whole time we had a blast. First we went to the book nook to trade in some old books for credit. I ended up with $33 towards books, how awesome is that. I bought several that I can't wait to read. We then went over to Hobby Lobby to pick up ribbon to make the girls some hair bows to match their summer out fits we bought. Can't wait to show you what we've made so far. We then went to eat at Logan's Road house, man do they have good food we left stuffed with take out boxes in tow. We then went to see I Am Number Four at the movies, it was a good movie but had an aweful ending. We had such a wonderful time, I look forward to our next date next month.

Fun Trip To The Doctor's

So, I just thought my week was getting better. I picked the girls up at day care and they were both running fevers. Our sitter was carrying Anna out because she had been sleeping. My child does not sleep at 5:30pm unless something is wrong. So our sitter suggested we take them to Urgent Care to see what they have. They close at 6pm, so here we go on a mad dash to grab my mom and get to the office before 6pm. Once we got there they told me that they could not use the girls insurance cards so I told them I'd pay upfront to get them seen. They're more important than money. So we get back there and do strep tests, good grief you'd think we killed them. It took me and two nurses to pry Sara's mouth open to swab her throat. All we had to do with Anna is lay her down, she started screaming so it was easier to get the swab. Good news test came back negative. However, they both have major ear infections so we got tons of strong antibiotics to take care of it. After we left we head to Ruby Tuesday's where more the first time in 3 days Anna actually eats her food. Yippie
